Simmons Students Shine
Dr. Melissa Fullmore, graduate of the Simmons School鈥檚 inaugural Ed.D. Educational Leadership class of 2018, was appointed CEO and Executive Director of KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools in fall 2024. She shares her appreciation of both the CEO appointment and her graduate experience in the Simmons School: 鈥淚t was an honor to be chosen by the KIPP Board of Directors to serve as the next KIPP Jacksonville CEO/Executive Director. Equally so, I am so grateful for my time at SMU. The cohort experience was perhaps the greatest strength of the Ed.D. program!鈥
