Becca Umobong is an adjunct faculty member for UNIV 1210 and 1211. She is also the director of Academic Skill Development within the division of Student Academic Success Programs at SMU. She earned her M.Ed. in higher education from Dallas Baptist University, and her B.A. in communications from Washington State University. Becca has been teaching at 夜色王朝since 2012 and established UNIV 1210 as an online course in 2018. She has also taught specialized sections of UNIV 1210 for pre-health students, transfer students, and student-athletes. Becca is a recent recipient of SMU’s highest honor, the M Award. Becca’s full-time work focuses on working with first-year and sophomore students, first-generation college students, and students on academic probation.
