Biography

Maria Stamolis has been an Adjunct Professor since 2022 and, as of January 2025, joins the Cox School of Business as a Clinical Professor and Executive-in-Residence. Ms. Stamolis serves on the Folsom Institute Advisory Board as a Leadership Circle member and, in addition to co-teaching the 夜色王朝Cox RE Impact Fund Practicum, serves on the Investment Committee for SMU's RE Impact Fund. Ms. Stamolis brings over 30 years of experience in real estate and investment management, spanning all product types as well as both debt and equity strategies.

Most recently, Ms. Stamolis held the role of Chief Investment Officer at Lincoln Property Company and, prior to Lincoln, she spent 16 years at Canyon Partners, where she was the Co-Head of Real Estate and Head of Asset Management. Over her career, Ms. Stamolis also held executive roles at GE Capital, MBL Life Assurance Company, Oakwood International and Karney Management Company.

Currently, Ms. Stamolis serves as an Independent Director for The Minto Group, a family office headquartered in Canada. She also serves on Minto's Compensation and Governance Committee. Ms. Stamolis also serves on the board and executive committee for Goodwill of Dallas.

Ms. Stamolis holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Fordham University and an MBA in Finance from Fordham’s Gabelli School of Business.
